Here is some breaking news for the sports fan. It seems as if David Ortiz, better known as "Big Papi", has been linked to the 2003 Mitchell Report that listed 100 or so players that tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs.
Ortiz hit 31 home runs that year, the least of the 4 players who have been exploited on this list ( A-Rod; 47, Sammy Sosa; 41, Manny Ramirez; 37). Ortiz has been quoted as saying "Those who are found guilty of testing positive for these drugs should be suspended for a year". This could be another dark day in a pitch-black year for baseball and steroids. As long as the Mitchell Report continues to slowly leak out big name profile players, then no player is safe.
